Founders Grotesk Condensed used for “Architects’ Journeys” by the architectonic designers at Project Projects in New York, USA.
With contributions by Rubén A. Alcolea, Beatriz Colomina, Kenneth Frampton, José Angel Medina, and Mark Wigley and others, Architects’ Journeys considers the role of travel in the evolution of the figure of the global architect in the twentieth century. The book’s relatively small format was chosen for its portability. In the spirit of cross-cultural communication, the book’s unique page configuration treats the English and Spanish texts with an equal level of prominence, as they each run in parallel horizontal bands throughout the book.
More info here. Personally, I think the persistent horizontal division is beautifully clever.
