Financier’s aesthetic comes from Eric Gill’s classic letterforms. Financier Text draws pragmatic detailing from Solus and Joanna; Financier Display takes Perpetua’s stately charm. Their respective italics reconcile mechanical sloped Romans and traditional calligraphic forms with a narrow, slight incline.
